The Hind Cultural Fellowship:
A New Platform for India’s Young Cultural Thinkers
Are you curious about India beyond textbooks? Do you enjoy writing, research, or creative storytelling? Are you looking to join a national cohort of engaged young thinkers who care deeply about India’s future in the world?
If so, The Hind School invites you to apply for the Hind Cultural Fellowship — a three-month, part-time opportunity designed for young minds eager to explore India’s cultural, intellectual, and civilizational depth through original projects and public scholarship.
What is the Hind Cultural Fellowship?
The Hind Cultural Fellowship offers early-career writers, students, independent researchers, and cultural practitioners a platform to:
Explore themes related to Indian culture, identity, society, philosophy, and history
Contribute original essays, interviews, reports, or creative media
Work independently or collaboratively on projects that will be published through The Hind School's public channels
Join a diverse national network of fellows dedicated to rethinking India
This is more than a research project — it’s a space to think deeply, write critically, and engage publicly.
Fellowship Structure
🗓 Duration: 3 Months
⏰ Time Commitment: 12–20 hours/week
📍 Mode: Remote / Hybrid
💸 Honorarium: ₹2,000 per month
🎁 Perks: Hind School Goodies, mentorship, and publishing opportunities
Fellows will work on a selected theme or question under the broad umbrella of Indian civilizational knowledge and public life, supported by the School’s editorial and academic team.

We welcome applications from:
Undergraduate and postgraduate students
Young professionals, researchers, or independent writers
Creators interested in cultural journalism, heritage studies, or storytelling
Anyone passionate about India's place in the world and ready to contribute meaningfully
No prior degree in India Studies is required — just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
