THE HIND CURRICULUM
Every sunrise introduces a new question: What can India teach us today?
At The Hind School, every day brings a new lens to study India. Our curriculum is built on the rhythm of movement — where each day unfolds a distinct theme, each region becomes a living classroom, and each conversation deepens understanding. Rather than repeating lectures, students experience thematic days that combine seminars, immersions, and expert dialogues.
Immersive classroom experiences
Students maintain a field journal and submit analytical essays.

The Hind School isn’t just an institution — it’s an adventure.
We turned classrooms into journeys and lectures into conversations with India itself. Here, learning doesn’t wait for permission; it moves with curiosity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing the right academic experience often begins with the right information. This section answers common questions about admissions, eligibility, scholarships, programme design, and institutional policies at The Hind School. It is intended to help prospective participants make informed decisions before applying.
What is the One-Week Specialisation in India Studies?
The Hind School’s One-Week Specialisation in India Studies is an intensive, immersive learning experience that allows participants to explore one region of India through its culture, society, and economy. It is designed as a short-format introduction to Applied India Studies — where ideas are studied through the field, not from behind a desk.
How is the program structured?
The course follows a six-day thematic model, where each day unfolds a new dimension of India. Participants spend the mornings in interactive seminars and the afternoons in guided field immersions. The six days move from Culture and Heritage, to Politics and Governance, Society and Community, Business and Industry, Arts and Cinema, and finally Reflection and Dialogue. Each day builds upon the last, connecting ideas with lived experience.
What will I learn during the week?
The Hind School is an independent and autonomous institution operated under Hind Culture Lab Pvt. Ltd. It is not affiliated with or accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). You will gain an interdisciplinary understanding of a region — how its traditions, institutions, and industries interact to shape local life. The curriculum combines lectures, expert meets, and site visits to museums, markets, heritage sites, and social organisations. By the end of the week, participants develop a holistic sense of India as a living civilisation.
What qualification will I receive after completion?
Absolutely! Think of our packages as a base pizza—you can add or swap toppings (Participants who complete all sessions and assignments receive a Certificate of Specialisation in India Studies issued by The Hind School. services) to create your perfect slice of digital success.
How does The Hind School work with industry and institutions?
Every regional immersion is supported by a network of industry partners, cultural organisations, and local institutions. Participants meet entrepreneurs, policy professionals, and creative leaders who represent the economic and cultural heartbeat of that region. These engagements provide practical insight into India’s industries, innovation ecosystems, and social enterprises.
What is expected in terms of attendance?
Because the program is immersive and sequential, full attendance is mandatory. Each day builds upon the previous one — missing a session disrupts both individual learning and group rhythm. Participants are required to attend all seminars, field immersions, and reflection meetings to qualify for the final certificate.
What if I cannot attend a session?
In exceptional cases such as health or emergencies, participants must inform their program coordinator in advance. The school may provide make-up readings or reflection work, but absences beyond one day normally disqualify a participant from receiving certification.
How are participants evaluated?
Assessment is qualitative rather than exam-based. It relies on active participation, reflective writing, and engagement during immersions. Faculty and mentors review each participant’s contributions, curiosity, and reflective journal at the end of the week.
